- We do not charge a set up fee for our service. Your fee is charged on a commission
basis. We collect 7% of the total amount of money collected, e.g. if your fund total
is £800.00 then you will be charged £56.00 commission. This money will be deducted
from the total before we send a cheque. Although our commission rate is reviewed
periodically and we reserve the right to change this without notice, if you have
already set up an account with us, your commission fee will stay at the same rate
as when you created your account. You can withdraw from the account after your wedding
date. We will send you a cheque for the total amount (minus
our 7% commission fee) the day after your account has been closed. Please note that
we charge a minimum fee of £50.00 (even if this does not make up 7% of your fund
total, i.e. if your fund value is less than £720.00) as this helps to recover our
administration costs.
- When you open a StarWeds Gift Fund, you will be asked to enter the number of invitation
inserts required and wording for these inserts. It is your responsibility to ensure
that the wording and spelling on the insert is correct. This will print exactly
as it has been presented within the previews and you will be unable to make any
changes once your order has been placed. If you decide to change the wording or spelling on
your invitation inserts after you have placed your order then you will charged for
the new set of inserts as follows: 0- 100 inserts = £10.00, 101 - 200 inserts =
£20.00, 201 – 300 inserts = £30.00 and so on).
- We will send you a despatch confirmation by email as soon as we have sent your inserts.
- Invitation Inserts, Contribution Certificates and Souvenir CDs will be sent to you by first
class post. We do not accept any responsibility for any items lost in the post.
- We may refuse to accept an order for invitation inserts or contribution certificates: where
the proposed wording of your invitation inserts is deemed unsuitable by us (i.e.
contains language which may be abusive, threatening, menacing, defamatory, obscene,
indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, liable to incite racial or religious
hatred, discriminatory, scandalous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy
or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience).
- If you are a guest and decide to purchase a contribution certificate, it is your
responsibility to ensure that the wording on the certificate is correct. This will
print exactly as it has been presented within the previews and you will be unable
to make any changes once your order has been placed. If you decide to change the
wording or spelling on your certificate after you have placed your order then you
will charged the full price (£1.70) for a new certificate.
- We reserve the right to pass on any banking or payment provider fees or charges
that we may incur from the guests or couples.
- Your personalised wedding website will become live immediately. We reserve the right
to check, edit or remove material (wording or photographs) that you post onto your
site that we deem unsuitable.

- If your wedding is cancelled, then you must contact us at contact@starweds.co.uk
as soon as possible: We will refund all of the guests who have contributed to your
StarWeds Gift Fund via cheque. We charge a £30.00 cancellation fee, this helps us recover
our administration costs. Your personalised website will be removed from our website.
In the event that we have already released the funds to you then it will your responsibility
to pay back all of the wedding guests who contributed.
- If your wedding is postponed, then you must contact us at contact@starweds.co.uk.
We are able to extend the wedding date by a further 3 months. Please note that your
wedding date can only be changed once. If your rescheduled wedding date falls after
3 months from the initial date then you must cancel the StarWeds Gift Fund. We will refund
all of the guests who have contributed via cheque. There is a £30.00 cancellation
fee, this helps us recover our administration costs. In the event that we have already
released the funds to you then it will your responsibility to pay back all of the
wedding guests who contributed.

- We will not pass your personal information to any third parties.
- You are prohibited from posting any material to this website that is:
- threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic,
abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, in
breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience;
- for which you have not obtained licences / approvals and infringes any intellectual
property rights, such as copyright and trade marks;
- that encourages conduct that would be a deemed a criminal offence;
- you may not mis-use the website;
- is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs,
Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software,
harmful data or conduct).
- We reserve the right to remove any material that we deem unsuitable.
