Your wedding is one of the most special days of your life and we can understand that most people like to keep souvenirs as a reminder of their happiest day.

We are able to save your personalised wedding website (including the photo you have uploaded and messages you have received in your online guest book) onto a souvenir CD for only £9.99 (price includes first class postage).

You will be notified by email when you receive a contribution.

In addition, we provide a contribution certificate service for guests. They will have the option to customise a contribution certificate detailing their message and the amount they have contributed. They can then include this inside your wedding congratulations card.

This only costs £1.70 (price includes first class postage).

You can withdraw from your fund on or anytime after your wedding date. You can only make one withdrawal (the total amount). Once you make a withdrawal, your StarWeds Fund will no longer be able to take contributions.

StarWeds is an online wedding gift service like no other. It allows you to set up an online fund to which your wedding guests can contribute using cheque, balance transfer or Paypal. You then have the freedom to choose what you spend your money on without being tied to a specific travel agent or department store. While most wedding gift service companies encourage customers to set up an extensive list asking for fixed amounts, our service enables your guests to contribute any amount they wish. As part of our service, we provide:

It is quick, easy and free to set up a StarWeds Gift Fund:
  1. Enter your personal details (your name and your partner's name, your address, contact information and your wedding date).
  2. Customise your Invitation Inserts with your own message and order the quantity that you require. Your invitation inserts will be sent to you via Recorded Delivery.

    • Enter a message about what you plan to spend your StarWeds Gift Fund on

StarWeds provides a unique alternative to the existing wedding gift list websites:

Unlike similar sites, you are not forced to create an extensive list justifying what your money will be spent on, we only ask for one sentence stating what you will put your money towards (e.g. 'a dream honeymoon in a tropical paradise far, far away!'). 4. When should I set up a StarWeds gift fund? Top
You can set up a StarWeds account at any point in the run up to your special day. We recommend that you set this up around 3 to 4 months before your wedding (i.e. around the time that you are thinking of sending out your wedding invitations) as we will provide you with inserts to be sent out along with your invitations.
5. How will our guests know about our StarWeds Gift Fund? Top
We provide beautiful, customised invitation inserts for you to send out along with your wedding invitations. These inserts will provide details of how to access your personalised wedding website so they can make a monetary contribution. For guests who do not have access to the internet, we can provide our address details so that they can send a cheque.
6. When can our friends and family start contributing? Top
Your friends and family can start contributing straight away.
7. How do I keep track of the people who have contributed to our StarWeds Gift Fund? Top
We will send email notifications to let you know when you receive a contribution. Also, when you log into your account, you will be able to view:
  1. Who has contributed to your StarWeds Gift Fund.
  2. How much each person has contributed (although this will not be visible to the guests who are viewing your page).
  3. Any messages that your friends and family have left in your online guest book.
8. How and when do we get the money out of our StarWeds Gift Fund? Top
We will contact you shortly before your wedding so that you can specify which date you wish to be sent your total gift fund. We will send you a cheque of the total gift fund minus our commission fee. Your personalised wedding website will be removed from our website 4 weeks after your wedding date.
If you wish to have your personalised wedding site copied onto a Souvenir CD so that you can cherish it forever, then we are able to do this for you. This will cost £9.99 and will be deducted from your total gift fund.
9. How much does it cost? Top
It is free to set up a StarWeds Gift Fund. Unlike other wedding gift list websites, we do not charge a set up fee. We collect our 7% commission fee before we send you a cheque of the total contribution amount. Your cheque will be posted to you via Recorded Delivery.
10. Is our money safe? Top
Yes. Your money is safe. All of your funds are stored in a dedicated client fund bank account. Only upon your request will we withdraw from this account. Furthermore, we are regulated by HMRC and registered as a Money Transmitter.
11. What if our wedding is cancelled? Top
If your wedding is cancelled, then you must Contact Us as soon as possible. We will refund all of the guests who have contributed via cheque. There is a £30.00 cancellation fee, this helps us recover our administration costs. Your personalised website will be removed from our website. In the event that we have already released the funds to you then it will your responsibility to pay back all of the wedding guests who contributed.
12. What if our wedding is postponed? Top
If your wedding is postponed, then you must Contact Us as soon as possible. We are able to extend the wedding date by a further 3 months and please note that your wedding date can only be changed once. If you require additional invitation inserts, you will be charged for these. If your rescheduled wedding date falls after 3 months from the initial date then you must cancel the StarWeds Gift Fund. We will refund all of the guests who have contributed via cheque. There is a £30.00 cancellation fee, this helps us recover our administration costs. In the event that we have already released the funds to you then it will your responsibility to pay back all of the wedding guests who contributed.
